If you have suffered an injury and have private insurance, for example at IF, Folksam, TryggHansa, you may be entitled to compensation. In order to determine this, and if so, how large this compensation should be, the insurance company requests an invalidity certificate.

Examples of common injuries that a disability certificate may apply to are fractures of the limbs, back injuries, neck injuries, knee injuries. The injuries often come from road accidents, sports injuries or accidents at home.

The distinction between in-work disability and medical disability is distinguished. The acquisition rate refers to impaired ability to perform work due to his/her injury, and thus loss of income. Medical disability refers to the reduction of physical and or mental capacity, regardless of how this affects one's possible profession.

During the visit, we examine your current injury as thoroughly as possible and then describe it in the disability certificate. Based on this description, an insurance-trained doctor will then make an invalidity degree based on special disability tables. Before we submit the certificate to the insurance company, IF, Folksam, TryggHansa, or the company you have, we will check with you so that we understand your problems correctly.

If your insurance company has requested an invalidity certificate, they will bear the cost of this, and we can invoice them directly, i.e. you do not have to lie out with any money.

Before the visit, it is important that you bring all medical records related to the injury, e.g. from the emergency room, surgical notes, follow-ups via the health centre, X-ray responses (X-rays are not needed). And we also need to see the letter from the insurance company, where claims numbers and administrators are successful.
